Our Ministry
Riseup Ministries Society is an equipping and healing ministry established in 2007 to respond to the reality of domestic violence and abuse. The ministry provides faith-based support, counselling and resources for women affected by abuse. As well, Riseup Ministries educates and empowers individuals, churches and communities to respond and work towards preventing family violence and abuse.
Riseup Ministries hosts its services at the Riseup Ministries House in Leduc, Alberta. This lovely, century old house has been dedicated as a place of healing, hope and prayer. Its welcoming ambiance helps women to feel safe and secure while they make their painful journey towards wholeness.
Riseup Ministries is a Registered Charity and relies primarily on the generous contributions of individuals, churches and organizations.
